We report a case of a 35-year-old woman with a radiation induced glioblastoma. At the age of 29, the patient was diagnosed to have a metastatic choriocarcinoma of the parietooccipital lobe. It was near totally removed followed by 3000cGy whole brain irradiation. Six years later, she presented with cerebellar symptoms and MRI showed thick walled, irregularly enhancing cerebellar mass. Histological examination revealed a glioblastoma with radiation necrosis. The accepted criteria for radiation-induced tumors of the central nervous system are discussed.
